Research Appointments
Research appointments are available on Mondays and Tuesdays, 10.30am to 5.30pm. Appointments are subject to availability and require a minimum of two weeks notice.
Please contact us at archive@thecosmichouse.org and let us know the dates that you are hoping to come in, and a little about the subject you are researching and the information you are hoping to find. If you are a student or writer with a deadline, please include this information so that we can try our best to accommodate you within that timeframe.
If you have found Items or Files here on the archive catalogue that you would like to see, you can either send us a list of the Reference Codes (for example CJA-TCH-a-2) or you can add items to the Clipboard, save the clipboard, and then send us the Clipboard ID. You can find step-by-step instructions on using the clipboard functionality on this page. Please note that we cannot retrieve anything labelled Fonds, Sub-Fonds or Series as these are part of the intellectual arrangement of the archive rather than physical objects. Only a small portion of the archive is catalogued at present, so if you cannot find what you are looking for, please do get in touch and we will do our best to help.
Appointments take place in the Architectural Library. Regretfully, due to layout, the Architectural Library is inaccessible for wheelchairs. If this impacts you, please contact us to discuss alternative modes of research.
