This series includes all materials relating to 19 Lansdowne Walk and its conversion into The Thematic House.
It includes:
-correspondence with architects, builders, designers, artists and craftspeople
-research materials on themes represented in the house
-financial records relating to the purchase of the house and payments for materials and work
-photographic documentation of the building work

Where possible, material has been maintained in the arrangement in which it was found and original file titles have been recorded. Many of these titles suggest that the material was either arranged or re-arranged by Charles while working on Towards A Symbolic Architecture (1985).
