        Ink drawings, watercolours and typescript commentary by Ian Hamilton Finlay of proposals for the garden. The designs include: Sundial, Benches, Herms, Obelisk and Roman Fragments.

        The designs are presented in a series of folded cards, numbered 1; 2; 2a; 3; 4; 4a; 5; 4a ,5a; 5a; 6; 6a; 7; 8; 9; 10; 10a. Some of the designs and typescript documents have come loose from the cards.
